The Bill (Reg. No.4736) includes documentary stamps and holographic protective elements into the list of the crime items (money, government securities, state lottery notes) envisaged by Clause 199 of the Criminal Code. The Bill also supplements the sanctions envisaged by Part 2 of Clause 199 of the Criminal Code with a new type of criminal penalty, namely, sequestration of property.
The Committee members uphold the Bill. Its adoption will improve the conditions of development of fair competition and entrepreneurship, and enhance criminal-legal protection of the excisable production market from the socially dangerous infringements.
